Can I Have a Corporate Retreat Here?

Yes! Our campus, in the Bernadine Herron Center, has the Andy and Sarah Crews Conference Room, a 1,500 sq. ft.,  spacious, modern meeting space that can hold up to 150 people and is fully equipped with flexible AV options. Breakout spaces are also available, which is perfect for workshops, networking, and small group discussions.

What if I don’t need space for up to 150 people?

We have a smaller, cross functional 1,150 sq. foot. room with tables and chairs that can be arranged in a variety of ways. It abuts our catering kitchen so it makes it easy for you to provide food for your guests.

Can I Have a Celebration of Life Ceremony Here?

The Bernadine Herron Center provides a serene and dignified setting for memorial services, receptions, and celebrations of life, surrounded by tranquil natural beauty. For those honoring Veterans, we offer a 10% discount on venue and lodging.

Is Catering Available?

Yes, we have a wide variety of catering options that can be customized for any dietary restrictions or budget.

Can Alcohol be Served?

Yes, alcohol can be served onsite, but it must be purchased through one of our catering partners. Lodging guests are welcome to bring their own alcohol onsite.

What is The Bernadine Herron Center?

The Bernadine Herron Center is a state-of-the-art venue within the Military & Veterans Campus offering lodging, conference facilities, and event spaces for military groups, nonprofits, and the public.

What Is the Bernadine Herron Center Capacity?

The Bernadine Herron Center has 22 guest rooms that can accommodate between one and four people. It has a 1,500 sq ft conference room that can accommodate up to 150 people, it has a 1,150 sq ft function space  that accommodates 110 people as well as outdoor space that can be used to accommodate larger groups.

How many permanent housing units are reserved for people who are affiliated with the Veterans Administration and or qualify for a Veterans Administration Supportive Housing (VASH) Voucher?

The VA has allocated 15 VASH Vouchers to the Campus, so 15 units are reserved, but Easterseals NH would accept even more tenants with VASH vouchers if more vouchers were made available.

Can a non-Veteran individual or family visiting the area rent a guest room?

No. No individual rentals are allowed, unless it is a service member staying in between deployments. The accommodations attached to the retreat center are reserved for VSOs bringing military members, Veterans, and their families onto Campus; for military members to stay in between deployments; and for approved organizations whose attendees may require a room.

Can Veterans’ families stay in the guest rooms when they visit their loved ones?

As noted above, no individual rentals are allowed.

Who can rent the guest rooms?

Guests of scheduled events with contracts that include guest room access can rent the guest rooms, military members in between deployments and Veteran Service Organizations (VSO) to bring military members, Veterans, and their families to the Campus.

Can military members rent rooms?

Yes, we offer a selection of efficiency units to military members traveling between deployments.

Is Lodging and The Campus ADA Accessible?

The majority of the rooms within the Bernadine Herron Center are ADA compliant.

Does Lodging and The Campus Allow Pets?

Registered service animals are always allowed on Campus, but we are unable to accommodate family pets.

Does Lodging Allow Cooking?

Yes, in some guest rooms there are kitchenettes.

Do you support homeless Veterans?

We work closely with Veterans Count, which provides care coordination that includes helping individuals get access to emergency shelters, stable housing solutions, and essential services that promote long-term housing stability and wellbeing.

  • Use I-93 South heading towards Franklin, NH.
  • Merge onto US-3 South and follow directions to Franklin.

Eastbound:

  • Drive west on NH-11 towards Franklin, NH.
  • Merge onto US-3 South and follow signs for Franklin.
  • Turn onto Holy Cross Rd; the destination will be on your left.

Westbound:

  • Head east on NH-11 towards Franklin, NH.
  • Merge onto US-3 North and follow directions to Franklin.
