Mercedes Magistro is the Campus Recreation Manager at the Military & Veterans Campus, where she develops and leads recreational, wellness, and outdoor engagement programs that support the physical, mental, and social well‑being of Veterans, first responders, and the broader community.
Drawing on her background as a New Hampshire–based equine and outdoor program professional, she brings experience in animal care, experiential education, and farm and recreation management, shaping a grounded, people‑centered leadership style. Her work, whether coordinating campus initiatives, facilitating outdoor experiences, or designing accessible fitness and leisure opportunities, focuses on creating welcoming spaces where individuals can reconnect with themselves through movement, nature, and skill‑building.
Outside her professional role, she maintains a strong connection to the outdoors and equine life, carrying that steady, adaptive energy into her approach to community building and program development.
