Nick Grant is a U.S. Army Veteran who served six years as an 11B Infantryman with the storied 101st Airborne Division, 3rd Brigade Rakkasans. During his service, he completed three combat deployments—one in Afghanistan and two in Iraq. His time in uniform instilled a deep sense of purpose, resilience, and commitment to serving others.

After transitioning out of the military, Nick channeled his passion for community and the outdoors into local leadership. He currently serves as President of Friends of Sunapee Recreation, a non-profit organization focused on enriching the lives of Sunapee residents through meaningful recreation opportunities. Through this work, Nick helps build stronger community ties by promoting outdoor access, wellness, and engagement for all ages.

Driven by a lifelong love for the outdoors, Nick believes in the power of recreation to heal, connect, and inspire. Whether on the trail or in the town hall, he remains dedicated to fostering spaces where people can grow, connect, and thrive.
